Below is another extract from the statement by the now Supported Housing Services Manager of WCHP Chris Dunn-Coleman (promoted since the departure of JM).
We will be looking more at Mr Dunn-Coleman’s statement over the next few days. This is an illustration of how JM unfairly treated clients.
JM was the former Housing Manager at WCHP who was dismissed for gross misconduct. At tribunal it was decided that the dismissal was unfair.
I find a couple of aspects of this fairly interesting. Firstly the client wasn’t booked out by JM. More interestingly, Mr Dunn-Coleman was the manager who heard the appeal. As we can see in his own words “I couldn’t justify overturning the decision”. So JM was so unfair to this client, according to Mr Dunn-Coleman, that he upheld the decision to book him out?
Again, maybe it’s me, so I’ll let you make up your own mind.
